Ecstasy

Conclusive:

Ecstasy stimulates the release of serotonin. That first produces the desired effects, but if the serotonin in your brain becomes depleted, that can result in memory impairment and depressed feelings.

Other short term risks are overheating and waterintoxication.

Although ecstasy is not addictive, that does not mean it is a safe drug. You can generally assume that if you change the chemical workings of your brain, that will always have its consequences.

Positive effects can always be accompanied by negative ones. A safe dose of XTC doesn’t exist.
