Tolerance

If you smoke tobacco regularly, your brain develops a tolerance to nicotine. That means the brain constantly needs nicotine to function normally.

If it has no nicotine, you feel a craving for the substance, and you may also experience withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, anxiety, insomnia, depression or poor concentration.
